Message of Love with Los Lonely Boys
The Garza brothers, better known as Los Lonely Boys, returned to the Northwest this past week on a mission to share music that makes people think of family, brotherhood, love and positive energy. The trio of Henry (guitar, vocals), Jojo (bass, vocals) and Ringo Garza (drums, vocals) perform “Texican Rock and Roll” with a Texas blues feel and sweet soulful harmonies as only brothers who have made music together for a lifetime can. Led by Henry on guitar, whose influences include Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Ritchie Valens, he can take his guitar playing to soaring heights when he opens up, and together, they were at their best on Sunday afternoon. From the opening “Don’t Walk Away” to the show-stopping cover of the Spencer Davis Group’s “I’m A Man” to the set closing “Heaven,” their performance saw Los Lonely Boys come alive on stage performing rock and roll that's full of the celebration of life and good times.
