The last time PDX Pop Now! set up shop underneath the Hawthorne Bridge was in 2007 when acts like The Blow, Starfucker, Blitzen Trapper and MarchFourth Marching Band packed the space. This year, the all-ages, all-genre festival will transiently return—as has been the nature in the 11-year history of the volunteer-run fest—to SE Portland's AudioCinema.
Mark the weekend of July 18-20 on your calendar as you'll be busy catching more than 40 performances from Portland artists on two stages (indoors and out) at the free fest while munching on food cart nibbles.
Organizers are booking madly as we type and lineup announcements are forthcoming in May.
In other PPN!-related news, you can net yourself a pair of tickets to this year's compilation release party in June (where you’ll get a digital download card for the 2014 comp) plus we'll hook you up with a physical copy of the 2013 one and a Vortex guitar pick—just support our current Kickstarter campaign.
