Head a little east for Fourth of July this year and stop in Corbett for the community's 48th annual Independence Day festival featuring a pancake breakfast and an old-fashioned parade before the family activities, elephant ears, and (most importantly) a full day of local music kicks off on the Corbett School grounds—gates open at 12pm. Come nightfall, the alcohol-free and smoke-free event will feature the only fireworks showcase in east county, which is also the third largest in the metro area!
Now for the good stuff. This year's lineup includes sets from:
1:00-2:00pm: The Adio Sequence
2:30-3:30pm: McDougall
4:00-5:00pm: The Stingrays
5:30-6:30pm: The Get Ahead
7:00-8:00pm: Sarah Wild and the Watch
8:30-9:30pm: Thunderstruck (AC/DC tribute)
9:30-10:00pm: Fireworks!
Plus, other activities throughout the day include a pie eating contest, food, games, a water slide, mini golf, inflatables, human hamster balls, vendor booths, and tons more entertainment for everyone!
