Britt Festival at Britt Pavilion

If you’re looking for an excuse to take a drive to the warmer climates of southern Oregon, swing through historic Jacksonville for the robustly genre-diverse Britt Festival, a series of summertime shows that can draw some 2,200 attendees—just a hair under the population of the entire town—from neighboring Medford and Ashland. Frequented by recognizable stars of jazz, blues, folk, country, pop, world music and more (including the annual Britt Classical Festival in August), Jacksonville’s city motto appropriately sums it up: “Always a good time.”
