Owner's Statement
The Dixie Mattress Festival is a playground for longtime Portland songwriter Jerry Joseph, playing multiple sets—both acoustic and electric with his Jackmormons—featuring songs from his expansive discography. In its ninth year, the fest finds itself in new environs on 156 acres of heavily wooded Oregon forest east of Scio at Neal Creek Resort. With a swimming hole and hot showers, rustic camping under the stars, a balcony overlooking the stage, and a potluck dinner, the beautiful pavilion that'll house the bands was hand-built from lumber found onsite. Root Jack, John Shipe Band, Planet No Planet, and Michael Dean Damron also play from July 20 to 22.
