Born and raised in Seattle, Joel Andrew Simard relocated to Portland and received his Bachelors of Science in Computer Science at the University of Portland. After getting involved with his college radio station, Joel found he was able to incorporate his lifelong passion for photography into his work at the station. Joel feels most at home with a Nikon in hand just as the house lights dim and the roar of the crowd takes over.
