The blues came to the Northwest in more ways than one on Super Bowl Sunday, but at least at the Alberta Rose Theatre, the mood was more than jovial as local bluesmen and staples of the scene Norman Sylvester and his band were joined by the soulful and folk stylings of Ellen, Gene & Jean and Mary Flower on Sunday, February 1.
Presented by Second Season Productions, the monthly concert series connects accomplished musicians with new audiences one Sunday per month at the ART, and next month's show will feature genre-blending blues and more from Terry Robb, The Ivie Meziere Foss Trio and The Stevens Hess Band on Sunday, March 8.
