Big K.R.I.T. graced Portland with a show in late October to support the release of his latest album Cadillactica. The show at the Alhambra Theatre, complete with a Cadillac grill DJ stand, did not disappoint K.R.I.T.’s loyal fans.
If you've been chronicling K.R.I.T.’s prolific list of self-produced mixtapes and albums up to the release of Cadillactica, you'll know that this album is his most publicized release to date. Don’t fret, he isn’t joining the mainstream: He’s bringing the underground to his ever-growing fanbase with this release. It’s still laced with the same life lessons, humbleness and rapping-as-I’m-living-it vibes that made deep connections to listeners with King Remembered In Time and Live from the Underground.
Production collaborations have made this record a can’t miss, and we highly encourage that you have a listen to the title track below.
