Portland's Folk Festival at Mission Theater

After last year's wildly successful inaugural showing, Portland's Folk Festival doubles down in year two by adding more nights, more space and more bands with which to share the stage. Vortex is proud to curate night one on Friday, February 1 (featuring The Parson Red Heads, Bart Budwig, The Hackles, Taylor Kingman, Brother Not Brother, Varelse) while Saturday, February 2 (curated by Rola Music) brings Worth, Those Willows, Pretty Gritty, Three For Silver, Elke Robitaille, Sam Densmore, Shane Brown, Matthew Michael & Christina Marie, Adrian+Meredith, Ronnie Carrier, Colin Johnson, and fest organizers Fox and Bones—plus numerous special guests will be peppered throughout the evenings! Friday sets start at 7pm (6pm doors) while Saturday's music kicks off at 4pm (3pm doors). Individual day tickets are $15 advance, $20 day of show—or two-day passes are just $25.
