Head a little east for Fourth of July this year and stop in Corbett for the community's 47th annual Independence Day festival featuring a pancake breakfast and an old-fashioned parade before the family activities, elephant ears, and (most importantly) a full day of local music kicks off on the Corbett School grounds—gates open at 11am. Come nightfall, the alcohol-free and smoke-free event will feature the only fireworks showcase in east county, which is also the third largest in the metro area!
Now for the good stuff. This year's lineup includes sets from:
Soul and funk from Swatkins & The Positive Agenda
NW blues from Ty Curtis
Classic rock and blues from The Stingrays
Singer-songwriter Hayley Lynn
Folk pop from Bo Baskoro
Vintage surf rock from WaveSauce
Plus, other activities throughout the day include a pie eating contest, food, games, a water slide, mini golf, inflatables, human hamster balls, vendor booths, and tons more entertainment for everyone!
