7pm doors,
7:15pm show
all ages free Welp, we were all set for a full weekend of #PDXmusic at local venues, with Record Store Day sandwiched in between no less! Alas, here we are so let’s make some killer lemonade with these lemons by inviting a few of our faves right into your living rooms and onto your tiny handheld screens. One of those aforementioned celebrations was Olivia Awbrey's debut LP release at the Doug Fir. Instead, we’ll hear new songs from her impending record ‘Dishonorable Harvest’—10 tracks of punk-tinged, self-aware rock that’s officially out on her own label Quick Pickle Records on May 1—as well as some stellar strumming and singing from Fruition’s Jay Cobb Anderson and a blast of badass energy and optimism from Frankie Simone. As always, we love to represent musicians of all genres so see the full lineup below and mark your cal for 7pm on Friday: The music will start after we thank our healthcare workers, followed by a toast from Vortex editor Chris Young, and then expect a sampling from each performer as they stream live from their homes to yours! Join us on Facebook and remember to tip your friendly #PDXmusic maker—see deets below. And if you wanna start the donations early, we won't stop ya: Use the Get Tickets link below!
