Music Millennium's 50th Anniversary Celebration presented by Portland Brewing Co.: The Strange Tones at Walker Stadium

On the Ides of March in 1969, Portland’s most venerated record store opened its doors at 3pm with the squelching, fuzzy guitars of The Beatles’ “It’s All Too Much” spilling out the front door. In the years since, Music Millennium has been the bedrock of our music community—Stumptown would not be the music mecca it is without the gracious support of owner Terry Currier, the man who pioneered the in-store performance in 1989. In honor of Millennium’s 50th anniversary, Portland Brewing Co. will have the specially brewed Terry Currier beer on hand while The Strange Tones rock the Walk before the game! Catch ‘em on the left field berm area at 6pm (gates open at 5:30pm)—it’s free with your game ticket, which is only $8-12 in the first place!
