Following the 2017 inauguration, Musicians Rising Up began as a documentary series that has since captured more than 70 interviews and performances by local performers who seek to heal and inspire a confused and angry nation. While the series continues, organizers Robert Parish and Teri Briggs have created a 60-minute documentary, featuring interviews and performances, mostly from the first year of the series. The film 'PDX Musicians Rising Up' will premiere at the Clinton Street Theater on Sept. 15 and several of the featured musicians will also perform short acoustic sets!
