Afrodaddy's Jazz Club presents Stolen Moments in PDX Jazz!: Andre St. James, Renato Caranto, and Saeeda Wright at Curious Comedy Theater

Set to highlight five hours of nonstop PDX jazz from noon to 5pm, the kickoff event for the future Afrodaddy's Jazz Club will also benefit the local nonprofit MESO (which empowerments underserved individuals through education and entrepreneurship) and the scholarship fund for Mel Brown's Jazz Camp. Featuring heavy hitters from the scene as well as rising stars, you can expect the Andre St. James Quartet to feature the man himself on bass, Renato Caranto on tenor sax, Ben Graves on guitar and Tim DuRoche on drums, while the Ezra Weiss Sextet will include Ezra on electric keys, Farnell Newton on trumpet, Rob Davis on tenor sax, John Nastos on alto sax, John Shaw on bass, and Christopher Brown on drums. Plus the afternoon will also include soul and R&B vocalist Saeeda Wright and the Peter QB Trio, and catered food and drinks from local small businesses, incluidng an open bar featuring Miru Vodka and Rex Whiskey!
