In conjunction with We Out Here Magazine, Vortex is proud to present The Thesis. The monthly hip-hop showcase known for packing out Kelly's Olympian every First Thursday will celebrate day two of its two-year anniversary with a blazing all-ages bill of local beat slingers and rhyme slayers. The Squads showcase on December 2 brings together a list of young PDX squads live at Hoop Dreams (1402 NW Glisan St.) featuring SQD (a fluid crew including Heff Boogie, A-RU$$ and Tugg), STRAY (with Donte Thomas, Chris Lee and Chief), Gutter Family Entertainment (with HV Gutter and Bocha), and RARE VIBE (featuring Drae Slapz, Lang and Nick B), plus expect a special guest set from young producer Deadbrainz. Just $10, show up early—come nod your head to this!
