Owner's Statement

In 1970, Oregon hosted the first and only state-sponsored music festival in the history of the United States: Vortex I. Fifty years later, a rare alignment of resources, historical relevance and a partnership with Oregon State Parks gives us the opportunity to create an equally visionary musical and cultural experience at the original festival site of Milo McIver State Park on August 22 and 23.
