Owner's Statement
SDMPDX is a music and art collective based in Portland consisting of SadoDaMascus Records and Sonic Debris Multimedia. Specializing in experimental, noise and electronic releases primarily by Pacific Northwest artists, SDM Records looks for common unifying elements in an artist's music including: the use of digital and analog electronics, a penchant for experimentation, a lack of reliance on traditional song structures, free-form or improvisational approaches, appreciation of the absurd, a tendency towards the surreal, open ears, boundless will, and adventurous attitudes.
