Alt-Americana three-piece The Groovebirds debuted on Portland Metro Records’ Fire Mondays radio program in 2015 and released their third effort, Time It Takes, in 2017. The album is a slightly darker collection of the lyric-based alternative/soft rock sound that characterizes the band’s earlier projects. Time It Takes was recorded and mixed by Bill Barnett at Gung-Ho Studio in Eugene, and was mastered by Ryan Foster at Foster Mastering in Portland. For fans of retro-pop and adult-contemporary, the disc is available digitally online and at Music Millennium.
