Cascade Equinox Festival is a celebration of the autumnal equinox in Central Oregon, blending live music with immersive art, workshops, family activities, camping and local food and drink. Set against the backdrop of the Pacific Northwest’s high desert, the festival also features artisanal markets and community experiences, making it much more than just a music festival.

While headliners like Sylvan Esso on Friday, September 19, Big Gigantic on Saturday, September 20 and Disclosure on Sunday, September 21—plus DJ sets from Chromeo and Passion Pit—top the marquee, here are some hidden gems from this year’s lineup. Listen to some tracks that shimmer below!

Family Mystic is a four-piece vocal ensemble from Portland. Blending classic funk and soul with '60s and '70s psychedelia and progressive jazz fusion, it's all elevated by angelic, four-part harmonies to craft what the band calls "feel-good music." Framing its music as a healing, transformative experience that connects deeply with listeners through the sanctity of song, dance and emotional resonance, you won't want to miss this.
