The Sorry Devils got started in early 2012. Bryan Brooksby, Robert Erwin, David Gluck, Eli Kress and Rob Crisler were drawn together by their shared loves: Oregon, Levon Helm, broken microphones, Canadian whiskey, farmstivals, and a bar called Momo's. The band name was given to them by an old cowboy in Santa Fe. They want to do right, but it's awful hard. Or maybe they want to do wrong, but they feel just terrible about it. The Sorry Devils play shit-kicking forest boogie and soulful railroad rock and roll, honed beneath the Hawthorne Bridge and above Paranoid Park in proud Portland, Oregon. The Sorry Devils
